A common error from MAPP found on segments is "Invalid RE Code found".
But what does it mean?
MAPP is reporting that there is a restriction/exception code associated with the client's Medicaid during the segment month attempting to report, making them ineligible for Health Home services.
How to find the mentioned RE code? There are two ways:
1. Go to the client's "Overview" tab and scroll down to the "Insurance Details" section.
2. You may find a line that mentions the "Exception Codes".
3. Compare the exception code to the list of DOH restriction/exception codes.
If you do not see any Exception Codes that are invalid in the member's FCM Overview, the next step is to log into ePaces/eMedNY to look up the member's eligibility during the month the segment that has not yet reported. For example, if your segment is attempting to sync for the month of May, check for that date in ePaces:
In checking the eligibility responses, it can be seen that for the month of May, this member did have an invalid RE code (N1) and that is why the segment has not synced with MAPP:
