FCM generates Health Home administrative fees and debits these fees on CMA Statements.
The details of these administrative fees, at the line level, are visible to both Health Home and CMA users on the claims screen, on CMA statements, and on an individual patient's "Billing" tab.
Some Health Homes assess admin fees as a percentage fee on each paid claim; others charge a flat dollar amount, on a per-member, per-month basis, for each segment maintained in FCM.
For Health Homes using segment-based fees, these are typically assessed for all patients with a segment in FCM for the month in question (regardless of patients’ segment and billing support status in MAPP, or whether a base claim for a given patient is ultimately paid or denied).
